Vase from Plastic Bottle
Plastic Vase

To make a vase from plastic bottle, following steps should be carried out.
a. First mark the mid-portion of the bottle carefully and cut the smooth middle portion of the bottle, as shown in Image 1.
b. Now measure and make straight, evenly spaced cuts all the way around the bottle up to the half portion of the cut bottle. The cutting should be done very neatly and should be equal as shown in image 2.
c.  Press the bottle upside down on a flat surface to ensure an even edge as shown in image 3.
d. At this step, folding of the strips are to be done like shown in image 4.
e. This may be used as a vase, but for more nice look of vase weaving of the tip of a strip over the next one and under the next two, should be done, understandable by image 5.
f. Fold the third strip and weave the same as the first one.
Continue around in this pattern until the last three and tuck each one under the next until woven in completely.

Purse or Little Monster
Creative Purse
Here is the use of two bottles bottom. Cut the bottom of two bottles. Attach half of the circumference of the two portions with needle and wool or anchor thread and give the other half portion a zip like shown in picture. This may be used as a purse or if festooned by eyes and a nose looks like a little monster.

Sheds from Plastic Bottles

From Shedworking, this shed is built primarily from recycled bottles collected from friends, family and recycling centers.
The first (above) is built around a timber frame. Each bottle is cut to size, using the following steps from the original site:
"The base of each bottle is removed, with scissors. Then a V-shaped slot is cut on either side, near the top of the bottle after its location being carefully measured. A little V-wing is then able to pop out of each side of the bottle so that when the next layer of bottles is stacked it does not slip too far down."
The second, or "Green House" below, is done without any timber at all and made with more than 1,000 recycled plastic bottles. The roof is self-supporting and the bottle bases were sewn together to make a stained glass window over the front door plus bead curtain for the entrance.
